We've all seen the unattractive, in-need-of-repair fences that frame many expensive and beautiful homes. We have also witnessed properties that are surrounded by fence styles that are incompatible to the home’s architecture.
These fencing mistakes can easily be avoided by coordinating the right fence with the right property. To accommodate the intricate fencing requirements of today's homes, special techniques and treatments come into play that demand individual styling and creativity.
For most of our customers, the home represents their major investment. For this reason, it is crucial that home improvements increase and maintain that equity value.
|
Chamblee Fence is dedicated to that end.Within the Chamblee online portfolio, selections can be chosen to produce all of the anticipated benefits and features that our customers should expect. Whereas, the wrong choice can reduce property values and begin a maintenance cost that can exceed the initial investment of a poorly planned fencing project.
Clearly, at the time of the property sale, the right fence for the property, the right materials and efficient installation can return the initial investment....and in many cases, even increase the homeowner's profit.
Additionally, there should be immediate benefits.....the pride and enjoyment of a lifestyle that is enhanced by a well-planned, low maintenance and beautifully styled fence. |

the most public view of your property and the major focal

integrate two or more styles to create special settings.

We at Chamblee Fence want your fence installation to be
completely worry and problem free. If you follow these
simple pieces of advice, you will be surprised as to how
simple and worry free installation can be.
1. Locate the exact place of the fence installation. Though
there is no law, we recommend that you stay 6 inches inside
your property line. Stake the fence corners and with
inexpensive twine, string out the entire fence line. This
will give you an idea of how your fence will look and alert
you to potential problems such as trees and shrubs in the
way.
2. Tell your neighbors what you are doing. Neighbors
generally are fine with your fence and will usually let you
tie on to theirs with advance permission. A new fence can
cause tension between neighbors when it comes as a surprise.
|
3. Locate utilities. At Chamblee Fence. we always call and
have your main utilities such as phone, gas, power and water
located. They will not however locate lines such as gas
lines to lights and grills, sprinkler irrigation lines and
low voltage lighting. We cannot see what is underground and
cannot be held responsible for what we hit with an auger
machine or posthole digger. Please make your salesperson
aware of these lines to avoid problems.
4. Check your subdivision covenants and your city or county
ordinances. Many subdivisions, for instance, do not allow
galvanized chain link fence and county ordinances often have
rules on fence heights and locations. Some ordinances tell
you how you must face your wood fence. Please make sure that
what you ask us to build meets their requirements.
5. The city of Atlanta requires a permit to build a fence.
Be sure that this is in place before we send out a crew.
They will issue a stop work order and cause unnecessary
delays. |
